Course Description:

If the course is taken under the Woodbury University credit option:
Credits: 4 semester credits
Prerequisite:   To be successful in this course, students should have either a year of high school Algebra ll or one semester of Intermediate Algebra with a grade of C or better.
Transfer: CSU, UC - 4 year degree applicable

Presents a study of College Algebra and analytic Geometry with an emphasis on mathematical modeling. Covers topics such as algebraic equations and inequalities, polynomial functions, functions and graphs, zero of functions, rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, conic sections, systems of equations and inequalities, matrices and determinants, sequences and series, and probability.

This course is designed to prepare students for Calculus.
A proctored final is required for this course.
