Omega Math has been online since 1996, and is associated with Woodbury University and the Extension office at California Polytechnic State University. Our courses meet or exceed college standards.
Colleges and Universities nationwide are under pressure with immense budget cuts. Schools have cut summer classes as well as normal classes in order to accommodate their financial situations. When schools are unable to afford core classes that students need, students can turn to Omega Math to meet their requirements.
Too often, students cannot complete their college degree because of problems meeting their math requirement. When students fail to pass the ELM or their basic math requirements, Omega Math can help your students meet those requirements, so that they are able to return to school, pre-calculus ready and capable of graduating with a good understanding of mathematics. Omega Math lessons are packed full of examples from the easiest to the most advanced levels. Interactive problems are introduced at each level so the student can make sure he/she understands the material before moving forward.
Our system is set up to deliver teacher and coordinator accounts which provide all the access needed to manage your students. Your school is charged per student, and a group discount is applied.
If you want your students to enroll themselves and pay individually, you have three options as a teacher or administrator. Your students can take courses for college credits, for continuing education units, or for noncredit. Omega Math works with Woodbury University, which will provide college credits with an official transcript, and California Polytechnic University, which will provide continuing education units with an official transcript. The noncredit choice greatly reduces the cost for the student, and Omega Math will issue a certificate of completion.
For more information on credit types, please visit the credit options page.
