The syllabus & menu for each class shows all the topics covered for that course.

Click on the link to left for each syllabus.

  1. Students should start by reading lesson 1.1.
  2. Do the homework for that section.
  3. Take the homework quiz for that section.
  4. Read lesson 1.2 and continue the process to the end of the chapter.
  5. Take the chapter test. &nbsp Figure out why problems were missed and retake the test. Each test can be taken twice and the system takes the higher of the two scores.
  6. Go to the next section.

The homework is done with paper and pencil and is not turned in. Homework is what stores the math into long term memory, and it must be done to do well on tests and quizzes.

When a student encounters a difficult lesson, they should follow the steps below. This method works for most students. Start the lesson over again. When you get lost, finish reading to the end of the example or concept. Stop the lesson and sleep on it overnight. Even though you are not thinking about it, the brain works on the abstract part of the problem. The next day start the lesson again and this time you should get further into the lessons before you get lost.
