Basic Math/Pre Algebra
This course is designed for students who need to gain skills in Basic Math and Pre Algebra. The course covers all the essential topics needed to be successful in future Algebra courses. Topics include: fractions, order of operation, decimals, word problems, topics from Geometry, and more.
 
Elementary Algebra/Algebra l
This course is designed for students who need to gain skills from the first year of Algebra. The course covers all the essential topics needed to be successful in Intermediate Algebra/Algebra ll. Topics include: exponents, word problems, order of operation, graphing, linear systems and more. This course is designed to meet all state requirements for the curriculum of Elementary Algebra/Algebra l. This course is equivalent to one year of High School Algebra l or one semester of college level Elementary Algebra.
 
Intermediate Algebra/Algebra ll
This course is designed to broaden the concepts learned in Elementary Algebra/Algebra l. Additional topics are included. The course covers all the essential topics needed to be successful in College Algebra, Pre Calculus or Trigonometry. Additional Topics include: functions, logarithmic and exponential functions, complex numbers and more. This course is designed to meet all state requirements for the curriculum of Intermediate Algebra/Algebra ll. This course is equivalent to one year of High School Algebra ll or one semester of college level Intermediate Algebra.
 
Plane Geometry
This course is designed to prepare students in the understanding of two-dimensional Euclidean space and it also meets all state requirements for the curriculum. Proofs using deductive reasoning, introduction to three dimensional space and applications of both two and three dimensional spaces are also covered in the course. Topics include: logic and proof, properties of triangles, Polygons, circles, area and perimeter, surface area and volume. This course is equivalent to one year of High School Plane Geometry or one semester of college level Geometry.
 
Test Prep
This course is designed for students who need to review math concepts to prepare for the SAT, GRE or college entrance tests such as the ELM. Sections include: Intermediate Algebra, Data Interpretation and Topics in Geometry.
