Fund Raiser, Silent Auction and BBQ May 31 at Santa Rosa Park in SLO
You can purchase tickets for the BBQ or just come on Saturday. We will have plenty of meals. Haley Collins is almost 11 years old. She was born with just three chambers in her heart instead of four. Her first life saving heart surgery was when she was just three weeks old, and has had two others since then. Haley has had eight years of doing well, but in the last few months her heart is failing again. She needs another life saving surgery. Due to the last three surgeries, her parents have had to use all their saving and their retirements. As many of you know health insurance only pays so much of the cost of medical expenses. Haley's mom will need an extended leave of absence from work, which will be unpaid, to be in the hospital and to care for Haley after the surgery. In addition, travel and other miscellaneous expenses become extensive very quickly. We are hoping for donations from the community for items that can be auctioned off at the silent auction.
